For our project we visited Shelburne Farms, we evaluated the different techniques they take in order to ensure that their farm stays ecologically conscience. This is one of the first plan maps created for Shelburne Farms. Originally, the main intention of the farm was agriculture. However, Frederick Law Olmsted created a landscape more suited for multiple land use including agricultural land, forested
areas, and parkland.
Look at that rabbit! This farm uses a creative way to diversify their fields while staying very creative
areas, and parkland.
